She nodded “well it appears my older sister I never knew just reappeared” she said “plus I want to go back to the streets and see all my old friends but as the maids keep reminding me. Royals don’t go to the slums”.

Storm wasn't sure what she was getting at but laughed along. His eyes got caught on her stunning feathers. Without knowing he heard himself thinking out loud. "You know, you have beautiful feathers,"

Storm looked down at the dance floor. Why on earth did he have to blurt that out? "I er, I'm going to the snack table," he said escaping to the side of the dance floor. Was it possible to disappear into thin air? If it was, this would be the time to do it.
