Dove whipped around to face them, the one in the center was the dungeon guard. One of them had blood pouring from wounds, as did the others. We may be winning, if they couldn't send weasels who hadn't been fighting here. Dove was about to attack when all of the sudden, guards from all of the kingdoms leaped in. They attacked the weasels and Dove grabbed the dungeon master, flinging him to the guard, his broken wing was shuddering with pain but he grabbed the key and released Roslyn. Thorns was wounded but he came in. "I sent some to the other kingdoms to ask for help. They came," he nodded to the other guards, "But I'm afraid the leader and traitor escaped."

Roslyn collapsed into Dove's wings. "I was so scared" she whispered. It took her a minute to regain her dignity. Then the princess stood and looked Dove over for injures. "Oh feathers and sunshine your wing is broken!' she exclaimed. Roslyn looked into Dove's eyes. "I'll get it bandaged" she said quickly. Roslyn shifted through the dungeon supplies and found a medical kit. She took out the needed materials and tenderly wrapped his wing. "Do you feel okay?" Roslyn asked squeezing his good wing encouragingly.
