As the three others entered the cave, Rhia stayed back, in front of Diablo. She choked back her tears. The loss of her friend was just too much to bare. "You monster!" she wailed. "You killed him! You killed him in front of his entire family, including his children!" Diablo shrugged. "I didn't like when he reared up on me. I would of left him alone if he nipped me and that was that, but I didn't like when he reared." "And you think that's a good enough reason to kill someone? You sicken me," she hissed through her teeth, ears falling back. "If I catch you anywhere near my foal, I will not hesitate to send you to your death, just like you sent Kale to his. I want you to die in the most painful way possible. I truly, truly do." "You're no match for me." He sneered. "I'll send you flying across the prairie if you even think about killing me!" "You dumb ****," she shouted, nipping him in the neck as a consequence of his actions. "Is that how you treat someone who you're trying to make your mare? Kill her stallion in front of her herd, and then harass her?" Diablo kicked her chest. "I would treat you better if you did what I say" he hissed. Rhia squealed a little. "That's not how things work around here," she said, running her butt into his chest and giving him a solid kick. "Ha!"he said, giving the same right back to her. "Where else would you see a mare trying to overpower a stallion? Nowhere!" He then lowered his head. "I guess I shouldn't of killed your stallion. But you can be in my herd, if you'd like. I'll protect you from other stallions, and... Humans, when they come every year. You wouldn't be taken, I'd make sure of that. Neither will any of my mares." She raised her neck up in pain as she smacked with his hooves. "I'm not your mare, idiot. I never will be," she stated matter-of-factly. "You're a tyrant who knows nothing of the basic herd system. A stallion theoretically is only a guard to his mares who provides his services to them in the spring, but his guard status is something that is abused more than it should be. But that's not my point. You killed Kale and for that, I will never forgive you." "Well" he said, baring his teeth. "YOU obviously don't know the most IMPORTANT part of the "basic herd system". A mare is supposed to obey her stallion!" (Is she ever going to forgive me? Lol)

"Which, again, means you're a tyrant," she hissed, glaring right into his eyes. "I've never met a mare who truly obeyed her stallion, like a god-figure or whatever, and if I did, I would pity her. Good luck on trying to find willing slaves." And with that she turned to accompany her friends in the cave, slapping Diablo in the face with her tail in the process. It was there where she would comfort her crying filly with a warm hug of the neck.
