Quote: Diablo descended off down the hill. At first all he saw were trees. But when he looked closer, there were some mares. Jackpot. And a stallion. "It'll be a breeze" he said wistfully "to fight off that stallion". And he trotted as quietly as he could manage, until he was just feet away from the stallion and his brood.
There was a sudden snort from the stud and his ears fell back. The mares lifted their heads to see what the problem was, while their foals were sure to snuggle closer for protection. He motioned for the group to stay where they were as he stood, dust billowing up from the cracked prairie ground. He was much larger than he had appeared while at rest.
Huyana grazed behind them, snorting in bliss.Charger, Flicka, and Promise stood at the top of a green hill watching the herd peacefully. Charger nuzzled Flicka softly and watched Promise kick out his heels. (Does anyone want to play Flicka?)
Diablo jogged down the hillside at a silent pace. He was just a step away from a mare out of the stallion's sight. He pinned his ears back and pushed the mare backward. "Come." He said.
(Awesomesauce!) Diablo stared off to the distance. The bright sun obscured his keen vision. The tall evergreen trees rustled in the light breeze. Where was all of those loner mares his brother had told him about?
Down in the valley and by a pool of water was a small group of horses taking a rest; two mares, their foals, and a stunning cremello stud. They did not seem to be keeping an eye out for potential predators or rivals, so unfortunately for them, they were big red target for bachelors.

The mare pinned her ears and kicked Diablo in the chest, while her foal ran for cover by the other three members of the herd. "No," she growled. "When Kale sees you, he'll throw a fit. Now get away from me."
(What's the mare's name?) Diablo pinned back his ears and nipped the mare, hard. "I don't care about that old shrew." He paused for a minute and whispered. "You know, you are awfully pretty." He said and dropped his gaze to the ground.
