[Cayuga momma]

My babies were bored so I brought them some grass and dirt. They demolished it in less than 4 min. I swear by the end they all had goofy dirty grins on their face. And one of them (probably Sharon the Cayuga) decided to put a grass/dirt chunk in their water bowl.

My husband can't get over how sweet our cayuga is. You pick her up and she just settles into you and snuggles.

I force my hugs and love on my drake, because he tries to force himself on the chickens. Tit for tat

I actually have to do a bumblefoot soak on my drake today. Not looking forward too. He will probably try to poop on me the bugger.

Aaha i swear they try too. Pickles seams like he trys to avoid pooping on me while the pekin trys to coat herself with it so ill drop her

it seams they can controll the texture too, because that pekin poops normal and if you touch her she poops the wrottenist dead trout stinking goop ever. Shes part skunk.
must be hard to get a drake to soak for any amount of time?

They surprisingly came 2 days early.
I ordered 5 and they sent me 6.
I ordered all females 2 WH, 1 SA, 1 Pekin, 1 Cayuga.

Since ducks have great eyesight we wanted to test out the theory of putting a picture in the brooder to see if it would help imprinting. My son put his picture in last night and they all snuggled up to it.

Seeing all the babies gives me need for snuggling ducklings. But I have to wait almost 2 more weeks before I can hatch mine. The dogs don’t peep like ducks!
