My little guys were making what I call the 'bullfrog' sound yesterday, it was so funny. The low-pitched 'glunk' sound they make to impress the ladies. Accompanied of course by head bobbing. Hoping to see some eggs here soon.

My drakes do that every time they see me walking by their kiddi ( or should I say ducky) pool! They stretch their necks up and lift their tails when they make the frog noise too, so hilarious!

That color is what they call pastel. All I know is from what Ravyn told me, both parents have to have a copy of blue in their genetics to make pastel. She is the daughter of duck and Jane and my drake s are her brothers. . so I am assuming I might get some pastel babies out of her.
Duck is a blue fawn, Jane is a grey with a hidden blue gene. . therefore I was able to hatch all three colors from them.

I have 2 snowy hens, 1 black bibbed and 2 drakes, the pastel and black bibbed. Would the offspring be the same colors? I'd like a blue fawn, or a white

That is way over my head I'm afraid. . my small brain could barley wrap around what pertained to mine. Somewhere in this thread Ravynscroft discussed some color combinations . . I'll look and see if I can find it. I just remember her saying it took two copies of blue to make pastel.
