Your drake has pied gene, and isn't apricot... he only has 1 blue gene, thus the charcoal head... apricot would have steel colored head... with whites, there's no way to tell what the white is covering until you breed them to a color other than white... all you can do is see what you get...
Taking a stab here -- what tells you that the drake has the pied gene? The white splotch on the head?
