YES please on the Magpie pattern.

Magpie is essentially pied and bibbed together... you may not get magpie right away, or at least not *fully* correct magpie, it takes breeding the best patterns together and selecting from those and so on...

When does the wing speculum color usually show up? I still haven't noticed any color in Lexi Grey's wing.

Does Lexi have eye stripes? And I can't remember what her duckling down looked like... they get the blue in their speculum when they feather out, but she might be dusky or carrying dusky... that washes out the blue...
Oddities do happen though, Crash had a washed out speculum for her entire first year, in her second year it was partially blue, lol... but I think she carries dusky, she's not full dusky...

We have not had a post in 2 days on here....

I need a DUX post.. I use DUX to work out my aggression. If I do not have a DUX to harass I might be forced to work out said aggressions on something worthwhile...

Please post soon, I have had a rough couple days and need to relax by kicking a DUX......(virtually, of course)

Even a picture of what "ralphie" is doing might help.

Ralphie, you are wretched for even considering hunting dux. Calls are meant to be cuddles and loved. Well, all dux are for that matter.

The history of Calls is to use as a DUX call to bring in wild DUX for eating.... I just want to restore them to their original use.

I have heard of that history before and it's terrible. I'm glad it doesn't happen anymore. Calls are huggable and not tools. Just look at one and even you will see the sweetness.

That picture resembles not you but dux lovers in general.

When properly used a call was hugged. You kept him under your jacket and lifted him out when you needed him to call the DUX in.

I am not much of a hunter anymore, but I think calling wild dux like that would be fun, even if I could only shoot them with a camera.

I think the history behind the call duck breed is pretty neat.
But. . I come from a family of hunters.
I'd rather shoot a turkey than a duck though.
Too bad I can't use call ducks to call turkeys.
