Sugar fell asleep.
 
Shadow and Beauty got to the other end of the deep part in the river and started galloping across a rocky area. Beauty followed.

Spice ran ahead of Heliotrope and hid in some trees. Once she saw him she jumped out and playfully nipped at him.

Blood rested for awhile listening for the wolves.

Buck followed. River ran next to Shadow.
 
Shadow and Beauty ran until they got to a bunch of thick trees, then stopped and listened.

Spice chased Heliotrope. For the first time in a long while she was having fun.

When Blood woke up he was very thirsty but he was too weak to walk. He at a small bunch of grass growing next to him savoring the moisture and watch the birds flying around.

Buck breathed hard. He sweat under the saddle.
 
Shadow was tired but listened intently to the dogs. She could hear them reach the small river and start walking in circles trying to find the end of the trail. "I hope it works." Shadow said.
