Dudley got concerned. "what are we going to do?"
Luna took a shuddering breath. "Before night came, though, they told me to run as far away as I could, and I did," she finished. "Then, when I came back at dawn, they were gone." She frowned sadly.
"So we all have to run as far as we can?" Dudley frowned
Luna nodded. "You better go check on Starlight," she said, her voice hinted with sadness at the name. She began to slowly limp away from both of them.
"I'm not leaving you!" He said. He felt so bad, he started to notice what was going on between Starlight and Luna. He wasn't even sure if he wanted Starlight to be lead mare...
Luna felt a lump in her throat. She didn't say anything, just kept on limping on, slowly and painfully.
Dudley galloped over to her "I mean it!" He refused to leave her.
Luna looked up at him, her eyes half filled with curiosity, half with something else... She couldn't quite figure it out. "Erm, ok," she managed to murmur.
He nodded. "Plus I think Starlight has found herself some other stallion..." He looked down.. There is something about Luna that makes him feel happy, though he can't figure it out!
Luna limped silently besides him.
"So where do you want to go?" he asked
"Well, I was heading towards the lower fields, it would be easier to hide there," she said.
"Okay lets go there!" he said! He continued to walk with her
Luna nodded. She limped forwards, her head low. Her dark, silky mane shone in the sun, as did her coat.
