✧ ✿ EcoGlow OR Classic Red Heat Lamp???? ✿ ✧

I think I've made my mind.....ecoglow brooder it is!
But do they sell it in feed stores?????? How long will it take for shipping from brinsea?

My experience with them is they get things out the following day after you order. I have felt they always gave me good service. I have purchased from them four times and have not been disappointed.

I can't speak for all hatcheries / feed stores, but I know Meyer does not carry the heater, I called to check before I ordered online from Brinsea.

I brooded 40 chicks with two ecoglows, so it WILL work for 20 chicks although it's a tight squeeze and I think it would be better with about 35- it's pretty funny, after a week or so you just see heads and butts sticking out at night. Really, after a few days they hardly use it at all in a 70 degree house - as I've said before, I think we overheat the chicks with the heat lamps. My broody raised chicks are out and running around the lawn at 60-70F with mom all day and just jump under mom now and then. They are three weeks old now and aren't under her at all. At night they sit on her.

I've done several 10-15 batches under an ecoglow - that works fine. It's soooo nice not worrying about the heat lamp and the chicks are never too hot.
