Is my sweet baby a roo or a hen? This is a 5 week old Black Australorp. I have never had a rooster (or this breed) so if this is glaringly obvious, please forgive me. I’m still learning.

looks like a rooster since its comb is slightly turning red

think it has to mature for it to turn red. I would say about 4-6 months since the comb has to grow first.

The comb turns red when she is about to start laying. About 4-6 months.
