Maya sat near the pond and drank. She pricked her ears, listening for any predators that may be lurking nearby.

Ray picked up his pace. He was used to running in the woods.

"We could try. I don't smell any deer around here." Kim said.

Cayden ventured up to the stream bowing down to lap at the water. She was surprised to find that this water had more of a mineral flavor. Where the other had an earthy taste. She never would have thought that water had such diverse flavors and that it could taste so good.

Josh drank some water and looked around. "Alright let's go hunting quick. I think everyone could use a break."

Cayden eyes lit up. Then she said," I'm famished! I thought we were going to get to eat some cougar. But we got deprived of that meal. That's kind of funny, dogs eating a giant cat. It would've been so ironic.

Kim giggle and skipped into the woods. Josh followed.

Josh drank some water and looked around. "Alright let's go hunting quick. I think everyone could use a break."

Maya scented the air for signs of prey. She followed a deer trail to a small meadow with a almost grown doe in it. She beckoned the group over.

Kim snuck over to the other side of the doe while Josh hid in front ready to pounce.
