Ray woke up.

Kim grabbed some moss and dabbed it on Rays side cleaning his wound.

Ray flinched and tried to move away.

"Hold still." Kim said through the moss.

Ray couldn't make out the words so he growled and nipped at Kim.

"I know it hurts but hold still!" Kim said cleaning up the last bit of blood.

Ray nipped at her again more aggressively. He pulled away from her.

Cayden sat on her hunches to think. Then said out loud, "What if the bear and the mountains are connected? So if we kill the bear, they get healed and then maybe we can get the heck out of here."

"It could be." Kim said. "We have to go get that bear!" Josh said impatiently.

"But where's the weakness?" Kim asked.
