My sister keeps saying she’d never want to marry a German for WHATEVER REASON.
I asked her if she knew where Americans came from and she’s like “idk, Britain?” And I was like “yeah, most of us. But ALSO, European countries like Germany and Sweden and so on, so most likely you have German in you. (Swedish for sure). Most of America is literally just a bunch of immigrants.”
She just rolled her eyes, but, yeah. History lesson, whee.
