We have a bunch of snow here, and our family’s been doing some shopping and stuff.

I thought you were in college because in high school we never talked about finals until it was the end of the school year (May/June).

They call them finals at my school, idk why. In Australia the Christmas holidays are at the end of the year and go for around 4-6 weeks. The beginning of the year is after the Christmas holidays. It's because of Summer being switched with Winter down here

I think it's pretty cool, the average Christmas day is spent at the beach or a barbecue.
It's currently 28°c outside, and the hottest day of the whole year is this Saturday which will peak at around 40°c or (I think) 104°F.
