I’m hoping that’s the case with a couple of mine that I’m not sure about.

All PBRs or various breeds? Mine had me fooled for a while but turned out to be a girl.

And the boy that I hatched was very red and obvious by like 4 weeks.

They look Rhode Island Red to me. And I agree, boy and girl.

I, personally, don't mind the quail in the background -- they add a nice touch, actually!
