I’m one of those people who can’t stand fresh cilantro. A couple of months ago, for some reason, I bought a jar of dried cilantro. I really like that. To me, it doesn’t taste anything like the fresh crap (cilantro) and I like the flavor it gives to my salsas.

Plus, coriander seeds are wonderful. Awesome in all sorts of food.

I was actually just reading about it.... and there’s alde-something or others that leave a soapy aftertaste. Cooking or drying make them far less noticeable. Crushing and cutting, more so noticeable.

Will you freak out to know that I also think buttercream frosting is disgusting? Almost all cake is nasty barring super dense dark chocolate cake, and frosting is simply an unnecessary pile of slop ruining it. I make exceptions for whipped cream frosting, and every now and then, a cream cheese frosting.

Dessert isn’t the key ingredient to a whole style of food.
It’s dessert.
I don’t do store bought frosting period. Tastes like a mouthful of shortening.
Buttercream and Cream cheese frosting is where it’s at. With exception of the tasted coconut German chocolate frosting stuff the wife builds.
I’ve been known to just put a little butter on warm chocolate cake and eat it too.

Pico is not the same without cilantro.

True, but we werent discussing pico. I like cilantro, by the way. No soap taste for me whew!

Not sure that I can overlook a hatred of both cake AND cumin. Good thing your taste in TV is slightly better that your taste in food

Never had lentil beans so have no reference point.
