Don't mess with them too much.
Okay, thank you. I thought I read that you were supposed to move them around every few days to like even out the hot and cool spots so they don’t roast in the hot spot or whatever. I thought it was supposed to help improve hatch rates or something. But I haven’t messed with them much.

If you know where your hotspot is in your incubator you don't put eggs there to begin with.

The Mex isn't allowed to do dishes...he would do them right.
I worked with a fellow that when he first got married his wife wanted him to help with the dishes. Every time she handed him a dish to dry, it miraculously slipped out of his grasp and broke on the floor. He was really proud of never having to do dishes again.

Do quail fly? Sorry for dumb question. I mean do they fly like birds or like chickens? Like if they escape from your cage will they be long gone? I dunno I guess I’m picturing pigeons when I hear quail
Ask @Nabiki how good they fly.
Yeah. They fly. I have 8' fences on the sides of my yard and a 10' sound wall on the back. I've had to retrieve a couple birds from the neighbour's yard, had one flush to the top of my roof that I never saw again, and had one fly clear across the yard and over the soundwall. I haven't had any take off for a while, thank goodness.

They will fly over your roof and disappear in a matter of seconds.
Yeah. I've lost 3 birds total that flew away, and I've retrieved 4 others.

I finally caught up with this thread. I'd better keep track of it so I don't fall that far behind again.
