If you know where your hotspot is in your incubator you don't put eggs there to begin with.

Good point!! I don’t put any in that corner anyway but I still thought you were supposed to move them every so often. I will avoid doing that though. I think some of them are somewhat close just because of how it’s set up but I’ll move them tomorrow.

Unless you have more eggs than can fit in your egg turner. surprisingly 44 eggs won't fit in the 42 holes of my egg turner

Yeah. They fly. I have 8' fences on the sides of my yard and a 10' sound wall on the back. I've had to retrieve a couple birds from the neighbour's yard, had one flush to the top of my roof that I never saw again, and had one fly clear across the yard and over the soundwall. I haven't had any take off for a while, thank goodness.


Yeah. I've lost 3 birds total that flew away, and I've retrieved 4 others.
