How can you know if you've never tried them?! They're strong, so they can be bitter, which is why you add milk and sugar.

I'm envious...when my mom was in the hospital I had to cook....my peach jelly become pancake syrup, my chickens could have drank my gravy (although even they would probably have turned up their beaks at it) and I managed to make four good pancakes out of a batch. But on a better note I CAN bake (as long as we dont mention the sausage gravy strawberry icebox cake!)

Sausage what??

Ok so it was supposed to be strawberry icebox cake...simple enough right? However I did not have the regular cool whip, so I substituted Oreo cool whip, and I did something else wrong, so the filling looked like sausage gravy except thinner...it didnt taste that bad, but looked HORRIBLE! and nothing like the recipe looked like...I made up for it though with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Lasagna.

As one has a highly documented history of mixing things up to eat....... Your "sausage gravy strawberry icebox cake"????? How, erm.... What did it taste like?
Would you do it again? I'm sincerely curious. A friend from my college form time asked in FB-land a week or so ago pineapple in anything else & why..... So I have my long answer why, in the solidly affirmative with many a shocked reply.....

Looks are not always the determining factor in whether or not something tastes good.
