Er, actually, provided that I take enough insulin, I'll be fine. Well, and keep my weight steady.
Type 1 diabetes is different from Type 2 -- Type 1 requires insulin to manage, as the body's pancreas doesn't produce enough due to the fact that the insulin-producing islet cells have been mostly killed off by the body's immune system.
I can't remember the specifics of Type 2, but that's when the body's insulin doesn't work properly or can't be absorbed for some reason -- diet, exercise, and sometimes non-insulin medication will be required for managing the condition in that case.
That being said, I should probably be eating less dessert.
Ooh! Pulling out the big guns!Ok Conan.
humor? what humor?Been a while since I've had a serious humour injection fail.
Cyber-slap or cyber-spanking. It's all the same here in the electronic frontier.... I'm not sure how to interpret that... should I have given the "Haha" reaction, or would the "Wow" reaction have been more appropriate?
Part of me says that the latter would have been more appropriate....
The heck with low carb, but I do use reduced sugar.Kiki.

I don't really know what the type one stuff is.I do low carb baking for my dad. For that, I use a lot of alternate flours and sugars. Still tastes good! And he can have bigger slices![]()
