It's okay, I believe you. 😘
It's a constant struggle keeping IV's tank humidity low enough in a sub-tropical environment. I can spike it 15% just by having a live plant on the outside of the tank, let alone having a small water bowl or fresh vegetables inside.
It's probably the external equipment that is making the room warmer, though. If we don't properly ventilate our computer room it gets muggy. You just need to leave your door open, use the tank lids, and get a dehumidifier.
Finally! Someone who does! :D

Oh wow! That must be super challenging!

And thank you! That makes sense! That’s probably the problem... I must sleep with my door and windows shut 😂🤣🙈

I’m sure it trapped the heat or something. And then especially when I had the lids off. But even now with them, there’s pretty big holes in the back. And the hood gets hot too. I’m sure it’s not necessarily the tank itself but the pump and hood making the heat like you mentioned but idk.

You are the only one with the option to quote.
It's your thread so you have the option to quote but that option is not available to the rest of us.
So it’s not just me then!? Phew! But then wait.... how did the rest of you do it then!? We’re back to square one now 😂🤣:th

Poor K. Perhaps Mr. Elk should explain.
I am DYING!!! I just discovered some I want to reply to so bad I almost resorted to screenshotting them :lau 🙈
You need to know the member's ID number and the post that you want to quote's number.

It is probably too much effort for you but in order to do it, I found a post by the same member in this thread and clicked on reply. I found the post number of the post that I wanted to quote and used that number to replace the post number in the just chosen reply. Then I copied the text from the post of the one I wanted to reply to and pasted that over the text of the message actually being replied to.
