Sooo, my wife just OKed a quail operation for next spring!
I have never been so ambitious about anything in my life. Broilers, layers, guinea, quail...the fun just don't stop! I'm happy to wait and learn ll winter before jumping in. And i'm looking forward to more meat and eggs next year. Hurray!!

I can imagine! Dogs like that are rare I think. I loved Bailey and Gator and still miss them a lot but I don’t think they were those once in a lifetime dogs yet.

I loved them both and they were both great in their own ways but I wouldn’t really say they were my “heart dog” or whatever people say haha although Gator was maybe close cause I did all the training and walks and stuff with him and he really only listened to me but he had his problems too and I learned a lot with him lol

I have Coturnix and I only have like 9 right now but I had like 20 I butchered a bunch last week and also lost a couple. I got them from Myshire. I got the feather sexable variety and hatched them myself haha you should join Kiki’s quail hatch a long thread if you haven’t already! So much info there!
