Eh they can be treats if you give them too many!!! If you’re giving them a ton of scraps daily they will not eat their feed and can have health problems.hmm, they are not treats just supplemental feed

It's complicated.hmm, they are not treats just supplemental feed
Yep I agree. I am a firm believer in free range but I also understand that sometimes people cant have their chickens running all over creation, whether it be cause of prey or your neighbors.I think she was just saying she doesn’t give them a lot of scratch and extra stuff intentionally. Free ranging is fine. Mine free range. But I don’t think Kiki does. And that’s fine too.
I think that is fine! I know plenty of people that give scraps. Mine dint really like scraps though anymore cause they find better stuff free ranging haha and I prefer to compost it anyway.no scratch here just acess to pasture and kitchen scraps that are chicken safe
okay we don't use that many vegetables, and grains so that they have enough scraps to cause that.Eh they can be treats if you give them too many!!! If you’re giving them a ton of scraps daily they will not eat their feed and can have health problems.
Tina Turner had her legs insured at one pointI do have CRS and cannot remember the actress/host that had her legs insured for $1 million. She really did have nice legs.
Yeah exactly!! Some people can't and that’s fine but mine are soooo much happier free ranging. I’ve had several losses but when that happens I just keep them inside for a few days or a week until whatever it was moves on. Loss is an unfortunate part of free ranging but I feel it’s worth it because of the happiness and the health benefits in the eggs. They taste way better hahaYep I agree.
