Cause we don’t have air conditioning up there and the room is already hot enough

But it did it even when it was cooler. Idk. The humidity was a bigger issue for me though. I couldn’t breathe sometimes that room is very stuffy.

Also they were right near the bed so idk the air pump and lights made a lot of heat too

It's okay, I believe you.
It's a constant struggle keeping IV's tank humidity low enough in a sub-tropical environment. I can spike it 15% just by having a live plant on the outside of the tank, let alone having a small water bowl or fresh vegetables inside.
It's probably the external equipment that is making the room warmer, though. If we don't properly ventilate our computer room it gets muggy. You just need to leave your door open, use the tank lids, and get a dehumidifier.
