yeah i was looking at weighted blankets and wondering if they really work or just another overpriced gimmick

Get one! I got the mini one last year.
I keep saying I'm going to get me own.

His is only a 12 pounder. I'd get at least a 15 pounder for me.
Also note that you can not wash the damn things so make sure you buy one that has a removable washable cover. Back when I bought his mist of the ones I saw online did not come with the cover. You had to but it seperately.

Also...I'm not convinced it keeps you warmer. It just feels nice having the weight on you.

I'm with Elk. You should stalk, kill and skin your own buffalo. Much better than store bought blankets. Explain to Cobra that it isn't a chew toy.

When you go the cheap route, you usually get what you didn't pay for.

They have a ranch up by Gillette, WY that will let you do that. If you are being lazy, I think you can even shoot one in a corral.
