Wacky Cake

That's what my grandmother called Goofy Cake....
I wonder if this is one of those cases where we all have the same recipe, or very similar ones.

It took me years to try it and then only after I found out why anyone would do that to a perfectly good cake. Well, it wasn't perfectly good before . It really does taste good. Although I can tell in most recipes.

You really should. Forget the vegan part and just make a delicious Wacky Cake and enjoy Thats one of the names it goes by.

Which cake or frosting? I'm not crazy about frosting either. I dont use a recipe though. I just mix the stuff until it tastes good and is the right consistency. I never put much sugar. Can't stand excessively sweet frosting.

No pics, but I had a bagel sandwich with shaved ribeye, muenster cheese, grilled green bell peppers-onions-mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

Im ignoring the peppers and mushrooms, just for the record

Good question. My grandmas was super sweet and hard. And the store bought stuff, already on the cake, I swear is shortening with sugar, thats it. I do like Duncan Hines though now that I think about it, its not too bad. Very sweet, but has actual taste.
I’ve never made any at home. Usually I use a light dusting of powdered sugar or a glaze. I havent made a bundt cake in a long time
Anyone have a good spritz cookie recipe?
