When are your bookshelves supposed to arrive?

I’m not sure. I think next week but possibly a little longer. I might go buy one somewhere else, maybe see if that store has one I could buy with the gift card, or at least start sorting the books now. I gotta get the ones out of the closet still. But first I gotta get lunch and/or go for a walk or something. Been inside way too mug lately despite it being beautiful out. although I did work yesterday and Wednesday but that’s like... an hour outside.

Because I want to get my room done finally and it said it would be like 10-14 days. I don’t want to wait that long. But I think I will just wait and find something else to do in the meantime haha

But I also wasn’t sure if only two would be big enough. I have a lot of books.

But I think I’ll wait.

I actually am perfectly fine waiting but I also didn’t think you’d want me to wait two weeks

Previously that might have been true but I’m determined this time.

And I know exactly where they all are. Or at least most of them.

My biggest decision I think will be how to sort them.

I don’t know whether to just go by topic/category (like dog books, chicken, self help, gardening, religious, mystery, etc.) or by alphabetical (and if alphabetical by author or by title) or try to do the Dewey decimal system or what haha

You have a good 10 days at least right?
Spend a few minutes today getting every book you can find of yours gathered onto your bed.

Don't go to sleep until you have them sorted in piles.



For real though...don't waste weeks trying to get them in a specific order. Just get them all on the shelves.

That’s a good idea!! I’m going to do that! Need something to do with the middle of my day anyway.

And hm that’s a good point! Definitely don’t want to waste a lot of time doing that. I’ve already wasted enough time haha

That said though, I don’t think it’s possible for me to just throw them up there in no specific order and/or having the topics all mixed up, that’d be complete chaos and honestly probably stress me out.

But I think I might just sort them my topic/category and have that be the extent of it. All this alphabetical crap is too time consuming even for me lol

I’m realizing I’m too lazy to do that.
