Dewey decimal would have them sorted by category and then by author’s last name within the category, however all fiction would be lumped together.

Just saying you could start with categories and then later alphabetize within and have the best of both worlds

You could go all decorator and sort them by color, but it would make it really hard to find things

That is a fantastic idea!! I think I might do that and just skip the numbers and formal categories/actual Dewey system lol

And yeahhhhhh.... definitely not doing that.
