Ok... my minds made up... as soon as my chickens get their baths and I'm 100% sure everyone is good and healthy (fecal float, routine dewormer and good spray down with elector psp in da coop & on da ladies) I'm going to contact the breeder I got my faverolle from and put in my request for a favaucana roo. :woot:yesss::wee Let the hatching games begin!!!

You must make a hatching thread that we can follow! :woot

Oh Lord knows I'll be asking for help and guidance from everyone when that time comes! No doubt!
Will you build an incubator or buy one?

Also, the chicken instincts are strong with this one. :D Already climbing all over everything.

After watching everyone on here with the hatches, I'm really tempted to do those turkey eggs I mentioned. However (1.) I know nothing about turkeys - especially wild ones except that one time in my early 20's when I dated some guy who had them on his property and they chased me across a field (2.) Have no idea where to put em afterwards - in the marsh/woods behind my house? Excuse me Mr. Game and Wildlife officer (or my luck actual State Police), you say there are unexplained wild turkeys behind my property and they keep coming to my house? Really? and (3.) I assume turkey hatchlings are not as cute as a chick or duck . Ok, yeah, I just watched a video :sick....I think that cured my curiosity at trying to hatch them.
