We still haven’t figured out what happened to the missing babies, but Psycho Killer Ex-Broody showed us that she is an egg eater yesterday. One of our hens laid an accident egg out in the yard and she was trying to tuck it under her and Psycho came and broke it right open. They have constant access to oyster shells (now separated Kiki ) and plenty of protein so I don’t know why she is doing that.

The compressor on my ac just went out.
I'm turning into a real life beast this second.

That happened to us a few weeks ago. DH got a new part and fixed it in a couple of days. Thank God we have different a/c for upstairs and just lived upstairs those days. Hope it gets fixed soon. That sucks

I didn’t get down to check today. Had to take my mom out and deal with a sick kitten.

Everything was fine. I left to take the mini to get a quick hair cut and I get back home to this mess. If it isn't fixed soon I'm going to a hotel.

Will locking her in a broody cage do something to break that habit? We have fake eggs but she seems to know the difference.
