A badger is one of the toughest animals out there. They take zero shit from anybody. If a snake bites one of these guys, not only can most of them shake off the venom, but it will hunt the snake down and eat it. Yes, it will eat chickens. Fake dogs too.

Yep and unlike a raccoon, it can sometimes pull the panels off the side of the chicken coop. These guys are strong!

I need to decide if I should use the egg turner for the quail eggs or not.
It is not made for quail eggs but they last quail eggs did fit in it but I am not so sure they got rotated enough.

Put little squares of gauze in the cups to steady the quail eggs.

I hope so too I’m pretty sick right now and may have to go to ER if I get worse. After talking to a couple smart people the consensus is black widow bite. Browsing byc makes everything better though

The ER will be your second opinion and the ER Doctor can review the symptoms, reaction to the cephalexen, and your seizure disorder AND can work with your neurologist. A new antibiotic may be necessary. Worsening swelling, tenderness and infection can do damage to the flesh in the area and possibly compromise the joint. Nothing to fool around with...take action. Black widow bites are serious stuff.

This lady that I work with gets horrible pains in her stomach and side. Then she gets this feeling like there's something crawling around inside of her. She's been to numerous doctors over the past year. Finally, just a couple of weeks ago, they figured out that it's actually nerve damage caused by shingles.

ETA I'm so glad that I got the vaccine last month

The vaccine will not keep you from getting shingles. It will just lessen the symptoms.

I am a huge sucker for a golden. My first ever dog was a golden. Got him when I was in Kindergarten. He lived 16 years and was still the best dog I'm sure I will ever know. Your old dude is a ham - I love him already

When she's good, she's a real kick in the pants and just full of personality....
But when she's bad, she's really, really bad. Like, eat through the sheetrock bad, like eating two couches bad, like bullying people bad, like spite pissing on the carpet bad, like attacking other dogs bad... I could go on. Most neurotic dog EVER.
