➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Thanks for the laughs and chuckles.

@KikisGirls So how are the quail eggs percolating?

We have two duck hens and six broody hens sitting on eggs! Fortunately we are getting unseasonably cooler temperatures this week and the 10-day forecast is lower temps. Should help the girls out.
I turned off the cabinet incubator with the last hatch...just letting the girls do their thing. Should have hatches going thru mid-August.

So I set my shipped duck eggs Thursday. I don’t have high hopes for them as they were not packed vert well and the air cells looked a bit scrambled. How soon should I be able to see development? I admit I’ve never done early candling on any of my other eggs, I’ve always waited till day ten but I’m too anxious with these ducks
You should see a "spider" embryo about 5 days.

A few of my hubby's Dad jokes for the grands.

What do you call a fish with two knees?
A tune fish.

How do rabbits dry themselves?
With a hare dryer.

Did you hear about the two bedbugs who met in the mattress? They married in the Spring.

It was so cold this morning, my shadow froze to the sidewalk.

Was going to tell you a story about a sidewalk, but it was all over town.

Yard sticks will not be made any longer.

Bigfoot saw me again today and nobody believes him.

I used to be addicted to soap, but I'm clean now.

Why do cows have hooves?
Because the lack toes.

Not a white lie situation, but when the Ginger was a little kid a couple uncle/aunt family members would sit on him and tickle him until he was purple and couldn’t breathe. Sounds funny, except now his wife can barely touch him sometimes because he can’t stand ANY sort of ticklish feeling.

Yea, sit on your kid and tickle him until he’s crying and can’t breathe, what could go wrong?
I really hope I don’t mentally scar my future children somehow with something stupid like that.
MY DAD DID THIS!!
My husband thinks it's so strange that I can't ever have anything touching my neck or anywhere near it now (necklaces and neck lines included). I can feel EVERYTHING. I can't even describe the feeling I get when something either touches my neck or tickles me in the slightest.... then the panic comes in. Scarred for life. I know how the Ginger feels. Truly.

I would guess by day 4 you should see something.

I see veins today!!! :celebrate
I've only checked a couple. I will check them all to night.
If you look real hard you will see pink/red on the lower left sides of these eggs.
