I just thought of a new experiment.
Gather a lot of eggs and boil them.
Set up a glass with vinegar and food coloring.
Dip first egg in for a second and set to the side.
Repeat adding one or two seconds in the glass each time.
Peel them.
Purpose:
To see how long you can leave an egg in so that when you peel it zero food coloring shows up on the egg.
I'm thinking about the taking off the spots on a quail egg.
Since I didn't pay attention or even think to just dip it for one second to wipe the spots off...I am wondering how quick of a dip will work to get the spots off but not let any vinegar get inside the egg.
It will probably be best to do this with quail eggs.
