Same. I love whisky and beer and wine. Friday night includes three libations, regardless of what they may be. Just no sugar drinks.

Ive always wanted a dog named whiskey. Like a big burley rough and tumble looking dog. Like a Leonberger, or a Spanish mastiff or something. Or a St. Bernard or something. And.... done being totally random.
 
So I just boil an egg in water and vinegar until it peels away by itself? How much vinegar? Half and half?
Peeling hard boiled quail eggs is not as easy as peeling chicken eggs. The vinegar removes enough of the calcium in the shell to soften it and makes it easy to use a knife point to prick the top of the egg and simply pull the shell and membrane off the egg. I made pint jars of pickled quail eggs. Boiling 50 at a time and peeling.
I would put 1/2 cup white vinegar in the water covering the eggs. Boil for five minutes. Turn off the burner, cover pan with lid and let eggs sit and cool in the vinegar water. Then I could peel them.
I don't think I know how to debone but leave the skin on.:lau

I'll try this in cast iron.
Do I need a certain temp in the cast iron too?
I always use a medium heat with cast iron.
 
I used to draw, haven't in years. Ran across a self portrait the other day from the 80's when I was young and thought I might have it framed.
I'd love to see your self portrait. I've drawn my sister a few times, but I've never drawn myself, nor have I ever considered it.
I'll admit, humans are NOT my specialty.
 
That sounds like a drink to be had on a beach somewhere! I usually do my Friday night drink of wine or a few beers. I like red wine when it's cold and usually beer or a whiskey drink when dh is home in the summer time. I don't do too many frou frou ones bc usually the sweet drinks bother my stomach.
I thought I was the only one who liked red wine cold.
