Yes.. vagus nerve stimulation is a solid epilepsy treatment. Keto diet is not.
I got a good laugh out of it.
The way I read it was hilarious to me.
Good for her, whatever works.Curious what makes you say that? She says it helped a lot, even before the VNS. I'm sure it's not an "official" treatment or whatever but it did seem to help

https://www.epilepsy.com/learn/treating-seizures-and-epilepsy/dietary-therapies/ketogenic-dietVery true.
And sorry, realized that reply may have sounded a bit argumentative haha but I genuinely am curious about why you don't think it works but if it's too personal that's fine too. But definitely doesn't work for everybody but when I was Googling to try to find the article they did about it, I did find lots of research about it and how it helps kids but hers is apparently something different called low glycemic index treatment? But yeah. I'm sure there are plenty of people it doesn't work on but diet can definitely have a big impact on a lot of stuff I think, not just epilepsy, it is pretty amazing.
Hope you feel better soon!Good morning all! Hope everyone is having a good day.
My health has taken a major dip and I haven’t had much energy to really do anything but sleep and lurk BYC the last 48ish hours. Sucks a big ol poop and it’s been a pretty crappy time but it could always be worse right?
Anyway. Haven’t talked to my chickens friends lately and I miss y’all, so just saying hi.
Looking forward to popcorn quail babies![]()

I never said it doesn’t work.It is not as simple as starting a diet. Yes, it is generally used on children, and in a very controlled and strict environment. Believe me, I’ve researched everything there is to know and more about what I have.
