Took daughters and boys to the feed store and told them to pick out 6 of the chipmunks. These are the ones we got. Now that I know to look for white ones with blue feet, I'll have to try that next time.

We had fun. Can't believe they all wanted to go pick out chicks.

want to sound argumentative either. It's so easy when typing replies to accidentally convey a snarky tone. I'm learning too and love it. My kids always want specific breeds and are all particular about it. Like for Easter they wanted a buff silkie (this was bc my daughter had one in our original flock and she died early) and a Mille fleur d'uccle. It's the price you pay for teaching kids about animals in too much detail.
