I will be in and out (trying to catch up) after today. I start a new job tomorrow, so won't have as much BYC time. (will probably go thru withdrawals for weeks to come).

Got any sleepwalkers?On a completely different note.... When I went to bed last night the tv and lights were off, only my son was up playing on his computer. When my hubby and I wake up this morning, him because he has to go to work and me because I help with taking care of the animals, the tv was on. No sound, which is what happens when it's been turned off. It automatically mutes it and you have to push the volume button to get it to come on. I say to my hubby, "Why is the tv on?" He said, "Hmm. I don't know. I didn't turn it on for anything." I say to my son this morning, "If you're going to play the ps4 or whatever, remember to turn off the tv ok?" He looks at me like I'm crazy and tells me he didn't mess with the tv at all after we went to bed. This is at least the 2nd time that it's done this that I can remember. It's freaking me out man!!!
Anybody else's tv just randomly turn on for no reason? I am trying to figure out of any of my dogs could have somehow done it but I just don't see how. The tv remote was sitting on the kitchen table, facing AWAY from the tv. I'm at a loss.
You know how when you turn the house heater on for the first time each year it smells funny. Could it be that kind of funny smell? Was it purchased from a person or a store? I know you bought it online but...I'm not sure how Ebay works. Can just anyone sell stuff there?Today's going to be a coffee day! I can already feel it. I got off work at five and cleaned out the coop before sunrise. I got the incubator, temp/hydro meter, and a candler in the mail. I set up the incubator but it smells suspiciously like burning plastic so I'm returning it. I found someone who's selling their incubators (2 diff types) with auto turners, but unless I want to drive way out of my way, I can go pick them up while they are in town today. At 10:30 a.m., plus I'm going into to work at 3:30 p.m. for another 10hr of overtime.

Careful pugs - how big is your coop? I've heard people keeping quail & small chickens (fakers) together, but the larger chickens can be aggressive on the little quail.
One of the top return reasons my family’s heater business gets is “it has a funny smell.” Many heating appliances get a funky smell the first time it’s turned on, it’s usually a certain coating on the internal plastic that is burning off. It’s supposed to go away within a day or two, I wouldn’t be surprised if some incubators are the same.

Does it happen often? You could set up a game cam to see if someone in your house is sleepwalking.Not that I'm aware of. I use a cpap machine so I doubt very highly it's me. Would be too much trouble to take mask on and off etc. I've never know my hubby to sleepwalk but maybe I'm just unaware of it. Hell, I truly don't know. Only other person in the house is our son, who's 20, and he doesn't EVER watch tv unless it's a movie that he's interested in that we all decided to watch. And we do lock our doors at night. I've heard of tv's turning off, maybe something going out on them, but I've never heard of tv's turning ON. I am just so confused and very, very tempted to set up a camera to record. But I just don't know if or when it's ever going to happen again. UGH!
