Fermented feed for the win!Soak some feed in plain old water for a few days...that's it.
I have fed my chickens it since day one and I will feed my quailies it too.

I like that you use just plain water. I read about such elaborate recipes on line.

I love pine shavings because they mix around, and you can go much longer in between changes because of that. Poop gets shuttled to the bottom where it dries nicely and doesn't come back up. I put a 6" thick layer in my main brooder and change it maybe once the whole hatching season. Only poor quality shavings are dusty. Maybe that's the problem.
Some of them could be simply translation problems. They just pick a name because they like how l it sounds and don't realize what it actually means.Sometimes people are just dumb.What was wrong with these people?
