Going into stores that sell live animals can be a real bummer, especially if they are not well taken care of.

I never realized they have a physical store. For some reason I thought they were online only.

I think you can and that way you could build it bigger for cheaper but you have to be careful. I think zinc is toxic to birds and I think HC is coated in it. For smaller birds like parakeets and finches that won't really be climbing on it or using their beaks you can get by but for larger hookbills that will be climbing on it you would likely have to use the vinyl coated wire or another material to build it.

I for sure need to research.
I really don't know a thing about birds.

Sorry, guess I was speed reading. I was suggesting an online option to avoid PetSmart or Petco. Chewy is all virtual.

Parakeets are hookbills and love to climb.
