We can have a build your own bator workshop!!!!!!!!!!!I think we should all get together one weekend this summer and camp out in Kiki's backyard. We can make all kinds of great food for each other and tell chicken stories!
I'll just bring a hen, they are my bators (of course you are at their mercy as to when you can hatch)We can have a build your own bator workshop!!!!!!!!!!!
God I want some good bbq and Mexican food. While pregnant with my daughter I told my hubby almost every day I would willingly kill him for 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans lol
"you can check out, but you can never leave . . "
Crazy Lady didn't and doesn't eat Mexican food. The only thing she could eat in the third trimesterS(!!!) was Taco Hell's (Taco Bell) bean burrito, no red sauce, extra onions & sour cream. I cannot tell you how many times I was woken up at dark thirty to drive to the ONLY all night Taco Hell to buy 3 of these. Argghh!!! Fond memories, yeah...
I tried home made. I tried all kinds of stuff. "Honey, it isn't the same."
"I'm not crazy. I'm just a little unwell. I know, right now, you can't tell. But stay awhile and then maybe, you'll see a different side of me."
Argh! @PirateGirl - no puppies. I cannot believe it is taking this long. Argh! Can I put you down for puppies? Argh! Momma spoken for. Argh! One puppy is good. Waiting on final count for others. Argh!
@KikisGirls - Just 2? You've got room for at least a dozen. Just do it.
@Xarinn - welcome! We have quite a few Canadians. A few we like too, eh!
@BantyChooks - tell us about quails. Worth the drive? PLEASE! Purty please with sugar on top?
Foods - Mac & Cheese. Yep, ate it, never again. Staple for my preteen years.
Meat & gravy. Kiki - you make rice 'n gravy? Kids were weaned on that stuff.
Mmm, Mmmm. Grandpa, what's for supper? Hee-Haw!
BBQ - sweet or tangy. I'm good. I really liked smoked. Slow cooked for 12 hours. Brisket. Tenderloin. Roast.
Of course, we make a meal of refried beans, hot salsa and chips. Avocado on side - not too ripe.
Hot clam chowder and home made bread. Fresh from the oven and a big, dripping smear of butter on top. Add enough tabasco to make it pink.
Anyone like mushroom soup and cheese toast?
Grilled pork chops, HOMEMADE macaroni & cheese with black-eyed peas and a pickled jalapeno pepper? Oh, my.
Hoppin' John? - Big, black cast iron pot of black-eyed peas cooked all day with onions and cayenne peppers served over a fresh slab of buttered corn bread. Ham hocks if ya got them or pork & venison sausage.
Pan of cheese enchiladas dripping in grease. Refried beans.
