I have been reading up on duck incubation as they are going in the bator next and it seems that some people even feel that it is important to cool duck eggs occasionally during the incubation process

I cooled S and W for sure...in the refrigerator!

I about peed in my pants when I was sitting in the car trying to get a pic of him earlier.
It was hilarious.
I had to catch my breath before I got out of the car.

It's been a bad two weeks though. Had a wake and funeral to go to in the past two days.

Looking at your pictures, I noticed that the shells on your chicken eggs are fairly dark brown. The duck eggs were white, right? It's going to be harder to see veins with a dark egg, so don't give up yet!

I was thinking I could see a few veins in the third picture but wasn't 100% sure it wasn't a shadow.

Any guess on how far along you think they are?

I am putting chicken eggs into lock down tonight so I will candle them first and see how they compare to these in terms of development
