➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Awww poor baby!! Hope he feels better soon!! And hopefully it is nothing serious but hopefully you can get him to the vet soon
We can’t fit him in our vehicles so I have to find a vet willing to come to him. It’s not easy unfortunately. I’m hoping it’s just a pinched nerve that we can heal and nothing worse.

Thank you!! Which one did you end up going with? Thanks, I hope so too!

Thank you!! I am super excited!! Can’t wait to hatch quailies!!!

And maybe webbies

I ended up going with a HovaBator 1588 with auto turner. We have a difficult time with keeping humidity in this house so my DH thought that it may be the better choice for us. Idk if it will or not but I'm hoping. :fl We will definitely have to do some runs without eggs in it to see how it does and if we need to tweak it any.

If you guys could keep my sweet baby boy in your thoughts, I would be forever grateful. :(

I’ve been up with him all night and day, and he’s been crying out in pain every time he lifts his head and he can’t bend down. We can’t get him to a vet currently, so he’s getting aspirin and glucosamine to try and relieve some tension.

Awww poor baby! I sure hope he gets to feeling better soon. Hang in there buddy! :hugs

I would totally overnight you the Faker's unused Mex a whatever it's called if there was more than just a few drops in this bottle.

We have some old arthritis anti-inflammatories from Bailey that I have on hand if it comes to it. I did all of the flexion tests, and the only one he failed was the neck flexions he couldn’t bend it to either side. I know it must of hurt with me pushing on it but he didn’t fight me at all. He’s such a good boy. :) I love him too. He’s my big dummy :love

Sounds similar to my old boy’s situation. :( I will definitely have him in my thoughts, I’m sure he’s appreciating all the extra attention just as much as my bubby.

It is like Christmas when the incubator is delivered!

Aw that stinks!! Hopefully it is something simple. I am glad we live close to a lot of vets and Gator fit in all our cars but we had big cars and he wasn’t THAT big. Big dogs definitely make it more challenging though. I saw a HUGE Great Dane recently, he was like a horse, I have no idea how they fit that big boy in their car. I imagine it is the same for your boy.

I was going to go with that one but the mention of humidity and problems with styrofoam made me really nervous. Plus I would have had to buy a turner separate which I didn’t like. And I like the easy cleaning of plastic and the viewing window. I hope I am able to keep temp and humidity stable. The downside is I don’t know if the Brinsea Spot Check thermometer will fit in the vent holes or if it even has one so I may have to open it to check the temp.

Thank you. :hugs
