This is also coming from someone who prefers a longer snoot on her dogs. I'm not big on the short snoots. They're very nice looking dogs... Cobra still wins!

Behold, an appropriate snoot. View attachment 1695725
I can't recall if we've had a poll on preferred snoot lengths, but certainly a discussion some million pages back...Boxer snoots are very appropriate! They can see things closer to their faces

I forget if you were here when I finally ended up hatching balutties or if you because a ghost before I did???
I think you should hatch some more just in case she didn’t get to see it.
Yeah, doing some investigative work myself that's what I saw as well. Like I said, it's a spare/backup. We're fiddling with it to see how it works and runs and the temp and humidity and it has an alarm and whatnot. We figured it would be worth a try in getting. Worse case scenario is we're out the monies that we paid for it. Not like I have money lying around just to throw here or there or burn but I just mean that it's not the end of the world. I'm not setting 96 eggs in it right now without familiarizing myself with it. I don't see myself putting the second racks that go on top of what you see in the pic I took at all. But I am curious when after we're comfortable with how it's going to function maybe trying it out. That just won't be anytime soon. Maybe eventually tho.
@Redhead Rae has a couple nice articles on the modifications she made to a similar type of incubator.

Not sure how much modification you want to do, but the articles should help in you need troubleshoot.
No problem! I am looking forward to following your future incubation adventuresThat is awesome! Thank you so
