The only reason I know of stirrup pants is because my mother said she wore them all the time when she was young.My favorite type of pant attire is gauchos! I wore those all of the time as a young child.

and the snow is knee deep in spots as I found out the hard way when I lost one snowshoe halfway down the hill but I kept going anyway so the dogs got their exercise lol they are exhausted. At one point they got a little further away and I was worried they were gonna run off but they just played a bit and came back. They were so exhausted cause of how deep the snow was it didn’t take long. 
Gorgeous day. Went snowshoeing with the dogs today. And yes it is a weird weather paradox. Warm enough for a tee shirt (58 degrees) but still need snow boots and snow shoes
And we will go back out to get the snowshoe in a bit, I tried to get it but it is buried about knee deep and wouldn’t pull up, it was stuck under some compacted snow from my foot I guess. Oh well.
For now we are all resting.
Well, actually, now I think we might go on another walk. We were resting for a couple hours though.
The fact that you said warm enough for a tee shirt, at 58 degrees, while there is snow on the ground, already has my heat-loving southern soul shivering
