➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Hey now! Lol but I would never buy something so stupid :lau waste of money and kind of ugly lol and way way way too small.
You crack me up!

Young Australorp group kicked out today. No more brooder...finally. First time in over a year and a half.

Broody Australorp hen, plucked herself completely bare. Nope. She gave me too many boys. Way too many boys. Every egg of hers was a boy.

I think we’re stopping the breeding thing anyways. The blues are just not turning out like they should, the type is wrong, eyes are wrong, lacing is really poor. Plus we have a mystery illness with one of our Australorps so he’s been inside with us for a week getting lots of vitamins. Not looking good. Definitely has a wry neck situation, but that has progressed severely.

School and work are driving me up the wall. Observed the day back from break, didn’t do very well. Plus I’m getting sick, but I can’t do anything about that. No sick days for me, plus I have too many papers, exams, and classes to worry about.

Forgot to add the photos of my group experiment. We’re testing growth in earth soil vs Mars soil (simulant soil). Full growth in the Mars soil so far!

Left to right
Brassica Rapa, Kale, and Cucumber.

We do too. Maybe Texas is too dry or flat for vernal pools. Says it’s mostly an east coast thing in depressions in the ground
Yeah I grew up in Texas and they weren't a thing. Seasonal water goes into bayous and swamps there mostly. Very different groundwater movement than out here in California.
