➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I've been busy today.
I set 73 Wyandotte eggs today in time for the Easter Hatch-a-Long. My 42 duck eggs will hatch after Easter so they don't count.
Transplanted tomatoes into bigger pots. We had cold rain last night and have three days of freezing nights ahead. So now all plants are in the hot tub room. Noticed my Bird of Paradise is blooming.
Set up the goat water tank to be the brooder in that room too...moved 25 two and three week old chicks in there for now. Then will move the five duckling in when the chicks go out to the hen house.

Out of curiosity, how do you brood so many at one time? Or will some of them be sold after hatch?

Even brooding 7 stressed me out!

How's the pup & the kids Conan? New pics would be great too!

Everyone is doing great! Been working with the young pup on his training every day and he is pretty darn responsive. Knows all his commands, but has an independent streak, which is nice in many ways and annoying in others. Edie, the black and tan kid, is such a hog that it's hard to get pics of her face. Anyhow, here's a photo bomb.

I forgot you had the goats  when TFD asked how the kids were I was like wait.... since when does Honan have kids??? I didn’t think she was that old.. :lau

But sooooo cute. And since when do you have a shepherd??

We’re doing pro and con lists. It’s really far for all of us to drive to and from work/school. It’s on 5 acres I think? Not really as much as I wanted but we don’t really have much of a choice unfortunately.

Doesn’t sound ideal then.

I like that John is pooping in one of those pics :)

:lau
I didn't even notice until you said that. :gig

X2 :lau

It's hilarious! It's just blasting right out!

OMG ew lol

Too good to be true, half the land that we were under the assumption was part of the house belongs to the neighbors and they were using it "in good faith". Sigh, on to the next one I guess

Awww darn.

I think eggs set up to 2 days before and 2 days after the set date count.

Oh, I'm past the age of having brats. I will be 37 this year.

Ringo, the Sheppie, is my parent's dog. He's here quite frequently with how often they travel. He's a great dog!
