Yes, I really wanted this variety too. I have Chanteclers still so maybe it's a blessing in disguise—I'll have more room for them.

Can you get chicks and raise up another rooster?? Or too much hassle? Maybe keep them just as pets/egg layers? But that’s true, you may have more room for another breed now!!

There is no place local to get eggs, chicks, or birds. I would have to drive quite a long way and then pay a lot.
I'll probably keep one of them, but the rest are terrible layers and rather skittish so they aren't good if I'm not breeding them to try and get better offspring.

I got one son out of him before he bit it, but he had a really terrible colour flaw from whoever his mom was that would have only bred in stronger if I had used him.
