These obviously are horrible pictures but I snapped them quickly before running out as I wanted to show the curls and how much shorter it is. I showered a couple hours ago so my hair curled again. I plan on straightening it again later but for now I actually kinda like the curls. I used conditioner today so it’s not a giant dry frizz ball like usual lol I find when I use conditioner it makes the curls..... curl better for lack of a better description lol and when I don’t, they’re not as tight and more frizzy and dry. So I try to use conditioner when I go places and just more often in general now. But as you can see, when the curls are really tight like that, my hair is really short. It’s actually usually a little bit longer than this but between the conditioner and the rain/humidity, the curls are extra tight today. When they’re a little looser, my hair’s a little longer, but still a lot shorter than when it’s straightened. But that’s actually part of why I don’t want to straighten it again yet, it’s still really rainy and gross out so it’s just going to curl or frizz again anyway lol but yeah. And these pics are actually about 40 mins apart so as you can see in the second one, it curled even a little bit more than the first one, and is still curling hah

Your hair has a lot tighter curls than mine does. When it used to be long, I would get a couple of those curly q's but mostly it is just a wavy/loose curl can't make up it's mind mop of hair lol. I condition my hair often but I still have to use mousse or something on it. I can't just let it go or it just becomes straighter and frizzy. Figuring out what works for your particular hair type is key. Those curls look very pretty!

I was kinda joking.
I think having fake hair or whatever extensions are made of would drive me nuts.

The length isn't bothering me as much now.
I'm finally getting used to it.

Annabelle laid her egg in the chicken coop nest box this morning!

We replaced the fence for the duck area. It was just a makeshift fence made from hardware cloth so was only 3ft tall. Noah kept harassing the chickens when he would fly over it to be with Annabelle and poor Xena would just be left by herself in the duck area. So we replaced it with some 5ft woven fencing that we had leftover. We were like, ok. They can't fly over something THAT tall so we should be good. And we even increase their area square footage so they'd have more area to forage around in. Then we saw Annabelle out in the chicken area... again. We're like, how in the world? Well, we found out when we went to go round her up.... and she squeezed right back through the holes of the fence. We might line the fence with hardware cloth or we may just say screw it. Noah and Xena can't fit through it. 2 outta 3 ain't bad.

Oh ok. I know a ton of people like to do that. I don't know much about them. My sister has very fine hair and she ended up getting some to give her a bit more volume. I'm glad you are finally getting used to it. Sometimes it takes a while. I've had hair cuts or styles and ugh! At first I'm like, oooh, great! And then for the next week to 2 weeks I'm fretting over how much it isn't doing how I think it should and I'm unsure if I am just unsure about it or if I hate it? Do I go back or just deal with it?
